Interactive Card
What do you do when you need a card and you really want it to be something extra special? You don’t want something hum drum and easily forgotten. You don’t want something that will be looked at once and then thrown away. Try an interactive card.
Cards with moving parts or a suprise inside add that extra special something. It adds even more fun to play with your card, not just look at it across the room.
Interactive Shaker Card
This is the first type of interactive card I ever learned to make. It holds a special place in my heart. I think I will always gravitate toward a shaker card when I want something special.
To create a shaker card, first you cut a window out of the card front layer. Next, put a window sheet behind the opening.
Then, choose the pattern of paper you want to see through the shaker window and cut it a little smaller than the window.
Next, put foam strips all around the patterned paper and fill the center with sequins.
Then, attach the window to the patterned paper and add foam strips to the rest of the card layer before attaching it to the folded cardstock
