Joyful Snowman

I don’t know where I’ve been, but I had a moment yesterday when I was shocked to realize that December is only two weeks away. That means Thanksgiving is next week and Advent starts in less than two weeks.

Looks like it’s past time for me to start preparing to create an amazing holiday season for my family. I hope that they have a least a few moments of joy in the rest of the month. I hope I can see their faces light up with sheer bliss like the one on the snowman on this card.

The DSP and adhesive backed snowflakes were the perfect was to add softly falling snow as the snowman looked up in joy. I stamped the snowman directly on the patterned paper and then again on some Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut out the snowman body to add to the stamped image on the card to create the stark white contrast. I then colored in the scarf, hat, and carrot nose with color to give it an extra pop.

I used Tic Tac Toe Challenge 090 as I chose the elements for this card. Other than the wreath, I think I can make an argument that the rest of them are represented. The adhesive snowflake sequins definitely count as sequins, but could also be considered a sparkle/shine. Critter is represented if you consider the snowman a critter. 🙂

I’m pretty sure my friends and family’s faces won’t light up for the same reason as this snowman, but I hope this season is full of joy–for them and for you.
