Christmas Monkey

The third week of the month means it’s time for a Christmas card with the featured stamp set of the month. July means it’s time for a Christmas monkey.

When you think Christmas monkey, what do you think?

Christmas Monkey

  • Monkey born at Christmas
  • Monkey dressed up for Christmas
  • Receiving a monkey as a Christmas gift

Are any of the above what you think? Or is it something else?

Growing up I certainly wanted a Christmas monkey to mean receiving one for Christmas. And, I think that happened with the toy variety on at least one occasion. I’m still holding out for a real, live monkey for Christmas. 🙂

If you’re not going to receive a live one as a Christmas gift, you can still make a Christmas card featuring a monkey.

Blue card with strip of patterned paper featuring a large tree trunk in the front and evergreen trees behind. A punch art monkey wearing an elf hat is swinging from a branch in the tree. There is a bunch of bananas tied with a bow at the bottom of the tree. Sentiment label says, "Merry Christmas."

Card Details

This little monkey comes ready to celebrate Christmas. He is swinging from a tree, wearing an elf hat on his head.

Plus, did you notice the bunch of bananas tied with a bow under the tree? I think that’s a Christmas gift. Do you think it is a gift for the monkey or from the monkey to another friend?
