Pure joy

Pure joy. The times I’ve seen pure joy in my life, it is coming from a dog or a baby. What about you? Have you experienced pure joy? Have you seen it from somebody else?

We could learn a lot from watching dogs (and babies). Maybe that’s why mems, gifs, videos that feature dogs and/or babies are often the most watched. Maybe we’re trying to capture a bit of that joy.

Lessons Learned From Dogs

  • Be present in the moment
  • Always greet your family with a happy heart
  • Snuggle close to those you love
  • Get excited about the small things
  • Stay curious
  • Always be ready to play
  • Do all of the above no matter the weather, political climate, or bad news you just heard

Card Details

This dog seems to be enjoying the moment. His expression is of pure joy. When was the last time you were that excited about something a simple and routine as a fan?

The dog is colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. That’s where you’ll see touches of blue and red in this card.

I counted the Fine Sparkle Dots around the stamped circle as the apples square on the Tic Tac Toe board. I think you can imagine they are apples. My dog would consider them apples, or at least food of some sort. Anything that resembles food is food in his mind.

The patterned paper from the front of the card is carried through into the inside. There is also a fun sentiment “I’m Blown Away Bu You.” 🙂 This card makes me smile and that dog is experiencing pure joy.

May we all be like a dog today and experience pure joy.
