Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek

One of the most exciting Stampin’ Up! promotions of the year starts this week–Thursday, January 5 to be exact. Sale-a-Bration is coming. You have the opportunity to earn FREE products. Today’s card is a Sale-A-Bration sneak peek.

Both the patterned paper and the stamp set are Sale-A-Bration items. This card was created with the Favored Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. This paper coordinates with the Fragrant Flowers stamp set and dies. They can add even more coordinated detail to your gorgeous cards. But the paper is so beautiful it can make amazing cards on it’s own.

The Sending Support stamp set is another Sale-A-Bration item. If you’re looking to send encouraging and supportive cards this year, this is a stamp set you want to earn.

Card Details

One of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up! is the way every item with the same color name matches exactly. For this card for example, I knew the Blackberry Bliss card base would coordinate exactly with the Blackberry Bliss ink and the patterned paper that contains Blackberry Bliss.

Each pack of patterned paper lists the color names that are in the patterns, so it makes it even easier to know exactly which cardstock, ink, and accessories to choose.

Steps for Creating this Card

Choose three patterns from the pack of patterned paper and cut three equal size strips
Choose coordinating colors from the patterns chosen for the card base and card front layer.
Stamp sentiment in same color as card base and cut out with label die or punch
Fussy cut coordinating flowers from patterned paper to add as focal point image.
Choose ribbon to add that something extra to your card.
