Scared of Stamping?
When you think about cardmaking are you scared of stamping? Do you understand the process of putting paper together to make a beautiful card, but think you’re going to mess it all up if you try to add a stamped image?
You’re not. But, the good news is even if you don’t add any stamping, you can make an absolutely gorgeous card using just paper and bling.
There are so many fun patterned papers out there, they can definitely be the star of your card. And, you can just combine different shapes to create a fun effect as well.
When you’re done creating your card, add some fun embellishments to give it that extra special touch.
Card Details
The card was made with only patterned paper and die cuts. I used the paper from the He’s All That designer series paper pack along with retired wood patterned paper.
Their are sheets of pre-punched dies in the Designer Series Pack that help inspire creation and help you add fun elements simply. A diecutting machine and the All That dies were used to create the bottom decorative wood dies and rectangle wood die for the sentiment frame. The sentiment die itself is a pre cut die from the He’s All That Designer Series Paper pack.
Although you could tear a page out of a spiral notebook to use as a layer on your card, this spiral look was created with a die from the Blossoming Happiness dies.
If you’re scared of stamping, you can make a gorgeous paper craft with no stamping at all. If you’re ready to add some stamps and ink, stay tuned to this blog. I will be adding a post with stamping tips very soon.
