Season of Pumpkins, Rich Fall Colors and Crops, and Thanks

I’ve been papercrafting for 20+ years so there are lots of different tricks and techniques I have tried. Some I have loved . . .some not so much. Many, I have forgotten, even some I loved.

The positive part about that is that when I remember they exist, it’s like learning all about a new and exciting technique all over again. The excitement of rediscovery brings as much joy as the excitement of discovery in the first place. 🙂 Am I the only one who experiences this?

This card is an example. I learned about tearing of cardstock and patterned paper during the beginning of my memory crafting days. I loved the way it adds texture and interest with a fairly simple technique. But, it was not something I had thought about in awhile.

So, when I “rediscovered” the tecnique for use on this card, I was very excited. I love the way it adds interest, dimension, and textture. I think I’ll be using this technique on a few more cards right now.
