#simplestamping Strawberries

When somebody say fruit and summer in the same sentence, I instantly think of berries. I think of growing strawberries in the garden growing up. I think of my excitement every year when berries go on sale at the beginning of summer and making berry smoothies at home with lots of different combinations. When I was thinking of a fruit or berry for this card–strawberries were a natural choice.

I love the two-step stamping of these strawberries. One stamp adds the outline with details and the other adds the color with natural variation. These strawberries and leaves were stamped with four stamps and four colors, but it was not difficult at all. Seeing clearly through the photopolymer stamps makes it easy to line them up and the Stamparatus makes it even easier.

I am loving some of the new stamp sets from the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. The Create with Friends stamp set uses an amazing font for the bigger words and then there are lots of additional words to personalize your sentiment and make it say exactly what you need.

I also love the Lighthearted Lines stamp set. I am loving their humorous way of saying exactly what I’m thinking sometimes.

  1. Clean and cute, Angel! I love how you angled the berries on the side of the card. You and I would have a great time at one of the “U Pick” berry patches near me. I am a strawberry fan, too! We had a huge strawberry patch when I was growing up on the farm, and picking – and eating – the ripe berries every morning is one of my fondest memories from childhood. Thank you so much for sharing with The Paper Players this week!
