Too Early For Ice Cream?

We’ve turned another page on the calendar and it’s now March. Time for a new month and a new featured stamp set for my weekly online videos. This month I am featuring the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set. What do you think? Is it too early for ice cream?

Never!! I say there’s never a moment ice cream is not appropriate. Spring, summer, fall are all great ice cream seasons. But, I would argue even when the temperature outside is colder than the freezer you keep your ice cream in, ice cream is still appropriate. You might need an extra blanket or two while you eat it, but it doesn’t stop being delicious.

Do you know how in lamaze class they suggest you pick a focal point image to take with you to focus on during childbirth? Didn’t know that? Well, now you do. 🙂 You’re welcome. I took a picture of my sister and I sitting over the floor furnace eating ice cream. 🙂

When it’s hot–either in temperature outside or when you’re sitting over the floor furnace, you better eat your ice cream quick before it melts and turns into a puddle of yummy goodness.

What do you think? Do you have a favorite time to eat ice cream?

Pink card with gold and white plaid paper on front of card with chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream cone diecut on the right edge. Patterned paper with bright, multi colored dashes from inside of card shows behind cone diecut. Sentiment label says, "Hope your day is sweet." Card is embellished with pink and gold sequins.

Card Details

My favorite soft serve ice cream is always swirl. Not just plain chocolate or vanilla, but a taste of both. I’m thrilled that the Ice Cream Swirl bundle makes it easy to create a swirl ice cream cone. It looks good enough to eat.

This sweet ice cream cone card is cut a little differently than most cards. Most cards are 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ both front and inside. This card is 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ on the inside and 5 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ on the front.

The ice cream cone diecut is attached to the edge of the front and you can see the DSP strip from the inside peeking through.
