Watercolor Butterflies
There is a new product collection launching tomorrow. It includes the pre-release of the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and Brilliant Wings Dies. It also includes exclusive papers as well–6″ x 6″ Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper.
For today’s card, I wanted to feature the DSP. All the patterned paper is from the Butterfly Bijou DSP set. The butterfly is fussy cut from the paper as well and attached with mini dimensionals on the body only to leave the wings free to flap like the butterfly will fly off the paper
I love that this paper has such a gorgeous watercolor background look to it and doesn’t require you to have any talent or expertice or tools for watercoloring. This card was make using patterned paper and fussy cutting the butterfly. You could create the same design creating the butterfly with the stamps and dies if you have a diecutting machine. And, if you love to watercolor or would like a challenge, you could even create a watercolored background yourself.
