Happy New Year

It is that time again.

Time to reflect on the past year
Time to look forward to the next
Time to plan for the future
Time to make resolutions
Time to say good-bye to 2022
Time to say hello to 2023
Time to say Happy New Year

January 1 is a random, arbitrary date for starting fresh, making changes, etc. You can make changes and start goals or resolutions at anytime of year.

I don’t know about you, but I tend to look at the new year as a time to re-evaluate my current trajectory and make adjustments and plans for the upcoming year.

How are you planning to ring in the New Year? I’m thinking pajamas, hot chocolate, and maybe a good book would be a great start to the new year.

How about New Year’s Resolutions? Here’s what I’m thinking right now.

Health: Get blood sugar levels to normal
Family: Monthly date night with husband. Surrender concerns about adult children to God.
Home: Finish unpacking from last move.
Faith: Keep prayer journal. Study Ezekiel.
Personal: Read at least 23 books. Write book.
