I created this card yesterday. Today, I attended the Women of Hope Spring Retreat. I had no idea what the theme or decorations would be. But this card matches perfectly. Signs of spring are everywhere.

The Women of Hope Spring Retreat focused on I Peter 3:8, “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”

I learned a new technique for making shaker cards at the February 2023 Hearts of Oz meeting. Do you want the shaker elements to cover your whole card and not just a window in the card? Use a clear envelope and you can make a shaker element for the entire card.

This card celebrates spring. The turtle is enjoying a daisy while standing in a field of daisies under a sunny sky . The shaker elements are loose daisy embellishments which makes it look like there are daisies flying all around.
