The Icy North Pole

When I think North Pole, I think cold and ice. That led me to this card featuring ice glitter on the front of a piece of Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP. Thanks Barry and Jay of Mitosu Crafts for the video that taught me this technique and inspired this card.

What a winter wonderland. I would love to be looking at that image from the window of my nice toasty cabin.

I’d love to see your pictures of snowy, icy scenes that look like this taken from your window or that of your toasty vacation cabin in the woods. Send this way and let’s compare snow scenes.

After deciding to use ice for a North Pole Challenge, I spent some time looking up ice and the North Pole. The Christmas in Ice–Ice Sculpture event in North Pole, AK has been cancelled this year due to lack of ice. Just an interesting fact about the North Pole and ice that I thought I’d share. I guess this ice glitter will have to do for this year.
